The Basics

Rune Magic is drawing symbols, like the ones you see in the picture at the left, so that they release certain energies. Their capability of working lies only in the person using them. You awaken the power of the rune simply by drawing, painting, carving or tracing it. But realize they will only work for you if you believe in the power they hold.

You can use comfort to ease pain or even send happiness to others. The love rune is used not only to receive love but also to strengthen it. Gift means sacrifices, volunteering and legacies. Woman, man and death are all self-explanitory. Poison could stand for gossip, slander and negativity. Home stands for self-image, stabibility and family relations. War means conflicts, quarrels, agression and hostility.
When casting the runes be sure to remember everything comes back to you times three, "Intent, Intent, Intent"

|
Runes can be used to glimpse possible future events. One method of using the runes this way is to carve the 12 runes into flat wooden sticks. Hold these sticks and picture the question you wish to ask in your mind. When the situation or question is clearly visualized pick one stick out at random. Then draw two more sticks ar random and decide what you think it means.
